Abstract
The UV and VIS absorption bands and the yield of scavengeable electron s in MCH/CCl4 and MCH/iso-propanol/CCl4 systems have been studied at 4 .2, 6 and 77 K. The possible mechanism of the formation of the visible band is discussed.
