A capillary zone electrophoresis assay has been developed which simult
aneously separates and quantifies the bacterial metabolites thymidine,
uracil and p-aminobenzoic acid present at bacteriologically relevant
concentrations in a supplemented minimal bacteriological medium. Sulph
adiazine was used as the internal standard.
