Sa. Petrova et Os. Ksenzhek, CHARACTERISTICS OF APPLICATION OF QUASI-EQUILIBRIUM THIN-LAYER COULOVOLTAMMETRY TO STUDY PROTON-DEPENDENT REDOX REACTIONS IN UNBUFFERED ELECTROLYTES, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 30(8), 1994, pp. 953-958
Characteristics of the application of quasi-equilibrium thin-layer cou
lovoltammetry to analyze proton-dependent redox reactions in solutions
not containing buffer reagents are considered. An expression is obtai
ned for the differential chemical capacity of a system as a function o
f the potential determined by a series of discrete steps of small ampl
itude. The effect of buffer capacity, the relation between reactant co
ncentration and the initial acidity of the medium, and the acid-base p
roperties of the reaction partners on the form of the quasi-equilibriu
m coulovoltammetric curves is considered.
