The study represents the memory test of verbal learning (Auditory-Verb
al Learning Test, CVLT, more recently AVLT), adjusted into the Czech l
anguage. The author compares different foreign experimental data about
the test, and presents his own experience. By means of this test, a s
et of secondary school pupils was examined (N = 14); the results justi
fy the adequacy of the original norms by Rey (1958). The use of delaye
d test after the interference and of delayed test after a longer perio
d represents a contribution to the memory assessment.
