P. Stefanski, INFLUENCE OF THE ANISOTROPY ON 4F-3D INTERACTIONS IN HOFE10SI2, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 136(1-2), 1994, pp. 120000008-120000012
Two molecular field based methods are applied to establish 4f-3d inter
actions in HoFe10Si2; analysis of the ordering temperatures and analys
is of the field dependence of the magnetization curve. When neglecting
anisotropy influence a good correspondence between these two methods
was found; the molecular field coefficient obtained from magnetization
curve was established to be n(RT) = -0.79 T f.u./mu(B), and from Curi
e temperature analysis n(RT) = -0.74 T f.u./mu(B). A large anisotropy
influence on the magnetization curve throughout the bending process ha
s been found as a cause of nonlinear increase of the magnetization and
low value of first critical field B-cr,B-1 = 2.33 T.
