Abstract
We describe angiotensinogen gene (AGT) polymorphic frequencies in diff erent ethnic groups in London, both normotensive and hypertensive. The methodology is a recently described direct PCR technique. Results sho w that there is a marked difference in T-235 frequency between ethnic groups. However, there was no apparent association of T-235 with hyper tension.
