Ms. Anand et Bm. Pande, RECOVERY STUDIES OF NEUTRON-IRRADIATED AND DEFORMED NI-CR ALLOYS, Physica status solidi. a, Applied research, 144(2), 1994, pp. 285-290
Ni-10 wt% Cr and Ni-20 wt% Cr are irradiated with fast neutrons to flu
ences of 6.5 x 10(21) and 1 x 10(22) n/m(2) and their isochronal annea
ling behaviour is studied between 343 and 945 K. On annealing, the res
istivity increases between 343 and 575 K and decreases again at higher
temperatures. The increase in resistivity is explained on the basis o
f an increase in local order on annealing. The decrease in resistivity
at higher temperature arises because of dissociation of defect cluste
rs.
