Abstract
Polarisation diversity heterodyne receiver OEICs including a tunable f our-section DBR laser as a local oscillator have been successfully fab ricated for the first time. OEIC design and fabrication are described and First characteristics of the integrated subcomponents and a packag ed receiver OEIC are presented.
