Arsenious and arsenic acids caused an increase in the chemiluminescenc
e of luminol even in the absence of hydrogen peroxide. Based on the fi
nding, a new flow injection chemiluminescence method was developed for
determination of arsenic(III,V). Applicability to biological material
s containing arsenic is also demonstrated.
