Ad. Mirlin et Yv. Fyodorov, STATISTICAL PROPERTIES OF THE LOCAL-DENSITY OF STATES AND THE KNIGHT-SHIFT IN DISORDERED WIRES, Europhysics letters, 25(9), 1994, pp. 669-674
Using the supersymmetric formalism, we calculate the distribution func
tion of the local density of states (LDOS) of the quasi-1D disordered
system. The shape of the distribution function and the position of its
maximum are determined by the ratio of the level broadening to the me
an level spacing per localization length. The fluctuations of LDOS and
eigenfunction amplitudes in quasi-1D case are shown to be much strong
er than for strictly 1D systems. Experimentally, the obtained LDOS dis
tribution may be observed by investigating the shape of a NMR line in
a wire or a quasi-1D organic conductor.
