Abstract
The stability of single-mode generation in a laser with a plane-parall el resonator was studied in terms of a numerical diffraction model. Th e ranges of the parameters for which the stable lasing was obtained we re found for a laser with a locally saturable medium and for a CO2 flo wing-gas laser.
