Abstract
The antacids in two didanosine placebo tablets had no significant effe ct on the plasma pharmacokinetics of a single oral dose of 300 mg of i soniazid administered to 12 healthy volunteers. These results suggest that isoniazid bioavailability will be unaffected hy the antacids in d idanosine tablets when the two medications are administered simultaneo usly to human immunodeficiency virus-seropositive patients.
