Abstract
All-optical error-free demultiplexing of TDM 100 Gbit/s signals is suc
cessfully performed using a nonlinear optical loop mirror. Its gating
width is controlled and optimised using a wavelength-tunable modelocke
d Er3+-doped fibre ring laser, and a stable integrated planar lightwav
e circuit is used as a 6.3 Gbit/s x 16 (100 Gbit/s) multiplexer.
