Abstract
A rectangular waveguide with two symmetrically placed double L-septa i s proposed. The numerical data on the cutoff and bandwidth characteris tics of the dominant hybrid TE10 mode, which are obtained by the Ritz- Galerkin method, show that the proposed structure is a significant imp rovement on the rectangular waveguide with two symmetrically placed do uble ridges.
