Abstract
The lower spectral tail of the 60GHz oxygen absorption band is charact erised from the point-of-view of aircraft-to-satellite and aircraft-to -ground communications employing the atmospheric propagation model (AP M) [1]. It is concluded that certain bands may sustain broadband line and some frequencies can be used for topside air traffic control and n avigation.
