Abstract
Description of two new species of freshwater amphipods from La Gomera (Canary Islands), both found in the higher parts of the island: Chaeto gammarus chaetocerus n. sp. and Rhipidogammarus gomeranus n. sp. Both species have distinct Afro-Iberian relationships.
