Abstract
The Letter reports the results of investigations on aperture-fed recta ngular and triangular shaped dielectric resonators for use as magnetic -dipole antenna elements. Measured results show that both antennas hav e a large bandwidth (> 10%) and their far field patterns are similar t o that of a magnetic dipole.
