Abstract
Determined natural-socioeconomic regions create a territory with the s ame combinations of natural conditions, with the same directions of gr avitation of the economic, social and cultural motion and with the sam e ecological problems. The 30 regions are characterized by 21 indices that can be classified within 4 categories: position - relief conditio ns, natural sources, ecological problems and landscape-ecological phen omena.
