Abstract
The effect of polarity of a solid carrier upon extraction of phenol an d its homologs from aqueous solutions by the extraction-sorption metho d has been investigated. It is possible to predict the efficiency of e xtraction-sorption systems from data on liquid extraction with allowan ce being made for polarity of the carrier and the compounds extracted.
