CARBONATE-SELECTIVE ELECTRODE WITH SOLID CONTACT

Data on carbonate-selective film electrodes without internal liquid fi lling are presented. The principal properties of solid contact electro des (concentration range of sensitivity to carbonate function, selecti vity to carbonate ion in the presence of other ions) are on the level of those characteristics of analogous electrodes with liquid filling. The carbonate electrodes presented are useful for the practical quanti tative analysis of different forms of carbonic acid (CO32-, HCO3-).
