Abstract
The quasi-binary system vanadium trichloride-exhausted electrolyte of magnesium production was investigated by differential thermal analysis . The compositions and temperatures of transformations for two eutecti cs, a peritectic, and a dystectic were determined. It was shown that t he system studied is similar to the binary system vanadium trichloride -potassium chloride.
