Abstract
Absorption of sulfur dioxide in an airlift apparatus with an external circuit is studied by using the cellular model. The absorption was acc omplished using glycerol-containing hexamethylenetetramine solutions. These solutions are shown to be in principle applicable for decontamin ating air by removing sulfur dioxide.
