Abstract
Objectives: To provide instruction in the principles and clinical appl ications of ultrasound. Location: King Fahad Military Medical Complex, Dhahran. Faculty: Four radiologists, one cardiologist, one urologist, one obstetrician and one physicist. Duration: Four days, (nan-residen tial), 11 hours of lectures and 6 hours of practical demonstrations. P articipants: Twenty-nine doctors from various disciplines and one tech nician.Outcome: A self assessment test at the end of the course gave a score 50% higher than one given at its beginning.
