M. Ezahri et al., STUDY OF THE AQUEOUS SOLUBILITY AND THERMAL-BEHAVIOR OF AMMONIUM TRIS-OXALATO ALUMINATE-(III) AND ITS HYDRATES - (NH4)(3)AL(C2O4)(3).XH(2)O, X=0,2,3, European journal of solid state and inorganic chemistry, 31(5), 1994, pp. 391-399
The study of the H2O - (NH4)(3)Al(C2O4)(3) binary system, using thermo
gravimetric analysis and X-ray diffraction techniques, allowed the det
ermination of the stability domains of (NH4)(3)Al(C2O4)(3).3H(2)O, (NH
4)(3)Al(C2O4)(3).2H(2)O and the anhydrous salt. The X-ray powder diffr
action profiles are reported for each of the three phases. The solubil
ity diagram has been established : it shows a peritectic decomposition
for both hydrates at 86 and 102 degrees C respectively. The anhydrous
salt is stable upto 180 degrees C and is totally decomposed at 350 de
grees C.
