Abstract
(C6N2H14)[PdCl4] is triclinic (space group P ($) over bar 1, Z = 2) wi th a = 6.726(2)Angstrom, b = 6.915(2)Angstrom, c = 13.494(4)Angstrom, alpha = 78.38(2)degrees, beta = 83.09(2)degrees and gamma = 71.79(2)de grees. The structure was refined from single crystal data using 2536 i ndependent X-ray reflections to R = 0.022 (Rw = 0.024). The crystal st ructure of (C6N2H14)[PdCl4] is built up from isolated [PdCl4](2-) squa re planes and (C6N2H14)(2+) cations.
