Abstract
A 16-year follow-up of a digital replantation in a 12-month-old child is described. Postoperative growth and functional recovery were excell ent and the patient had no difficulties in activities of daily living. Some factors such as epiphyseal restoration or compensatory bone grow th may be important for the good result obtained in this case.
