Abstract
The influence of calcination and sintering times on grain growth behav iour of modified lead titanate ceramics was studied. Fine grained cera mics of doped lead titanates useful for transducer applications were r eported. The grain size decreases with increasing the ionic radii of t he rare earth dopant. As the sintering time decreases the average grai n diameter decreases. Also with increasing calcination time, the grain size was found to be decreased.
