The optical properties of AgInSe2 thin films of different thicknesses
were studied, where transmittance and reflectance measurements were us
ed to calculate the energy gap width, the width of the localized state
s and the optical constants n, k. Energy gap width was found to decrea
se with film thickness, while the width of the tail of localized state
increases. Also, refractive index n was found to increase with wavele
ngth, while the absorption index decreases.
