Abstract
The electronic absorption spectra of 2,4- 2,5- 3,4- and 3,5-difluoroph enols in the UV region in vapour phase has been recorded on medium qua rtz and Hilger large quartz spectrographs and analysed. The molecules investigated have exhibited a PI <-- PI band system corresponding to 1B2u <-- 1A1g system of benzene.
