Abstract
Ways of connecting molecular devices will be needed if the ideas of mo lecular electronics are ever to be realized. The potential of conducti ng polymer nanowires for this purpose is discussed and illustrated wit h the case of poly(3-alkylthiophene), which can be made to connect two Pt wires by forming dendrites between them (see Figure).
