Abstract
An exclusive study of the hard photon production in the reaction Ar-40 +V-51 at 44 MeV/nucleon has been carried on with the 4 pi multidetecto r MEDEA. An anticorrelation effect in the emission of very energetic p hotons and protons has been observed for the first time. This is a str ong indication for the first-chance n-p bremsstrahlung production mech anism.
