Abstract
A well-known conjecture in hamiltonian graph theory states that every 2-tough graph is hamiltonian. We give some equivalent conjectures, e.g ., the conjecture that every 2-tough graph is hamiltonian-connected. ( C) 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
