Ot. Grudzevich et al., CROSS-SECTIONS OF NEUTRON REACTIONS ON TARGETS IN THE GROUND AND ISOMERIC STATES, Physics of atomic nuclei, 57(8), 1994, pp. 1351-1355
The results of theoretical calculations of the cross sections for the
(n, gamma), (n, n'gamma), and (m 2n) reactions on targets in high-spin
isomeric states corresponding to long-lived states of nuclei are pres
ented. It is shown that an increase in the energy of an isomeric state
leads to a displacement of the excitation function toward lower energ
ies, while an increase in the isomer spin noticeably increases the cro
ss section of the (n, n'gamma) reaction in the threshold region, and a
ccordingly, reduces the cross section of the (n, 2n) reaction.
