Abstract
The experimental yields of the isomeric level Y-90m(7+) in the (n, gam ma), (n, p), and (n, alpha) reactions are described consistently using the statistical and gamma-cascade models. It is shown for the Lu-175( n, gamma) Lu-176m and Hf-179(n, 2n) Hf-178m2 reactions that the statis tical simulation of branching ratios for gamma-transitions between dis crete levels can be used for calculating the isomeric cross sections o f nuclei with unknown modes of gamma-decays.
