Abstract
In addition to fever and diarrhea, an almost 3-year-old boy developed severe ascites secondary to Pseudomonas cepacia peritonitis as the pre senting sign of chronic granulomatous disease. This case serves to emp hasize that chronic granulomatous disease is an important differential diagnosis in cases of ascites associated with peritonitis.
