Abstract
In utero infections may result in failure of conception, embryonic dea ths before two months, abortions, stillbirths, or the birth of weak ca lves which often die. This article reviews the more common infectious causes of bovine abortion and presents some diagnostic approaches whic h may assist in the detection and control of these infectious microorg anisms.
