Abstract
The efficiency of Trichogramma brassicae inundative releases in biolog ical control of the European corn borer Ostrinia nubilalis was analyze d in seven plots of 504 plants, each situated in a corn field naturall y infested by the European corn borer. Different strategies of Trichog ramma releases were defined on the seven plots. These inundative relea ses were concluded to be highly efficient even on plots where there we re either no parasitoid release or only one parasitoid release at the beginning of the egg mass laying period.
