The energies of gamma-rays from some nuclides around 500 keV have been
measured by a slithering comparison with the precisely known gamma-en
ergies of Ir-192. The energies determined by this method are: 477603.1
8 +/- 0.44 eV for Be-7, 511852.70 +/- 0.58 eV for Ru-106, 514004.87 +/
- 0.52 eV for Sr-85, 520399.01 +/- 0.63 eV for Rb-83, 529594.48 +/- 0.
69 eV for Rb-83 and 552551.14 +/- 0.68 eV for Rb-83. Recalculate the r
esult of a previous experiment by using the new energy measurement, th
e value of electron mass is obtained as 510998.6 +/- 1.1 eV which is i
n good agreement with the recently adjusted value of electron mass.
