Abstract
A study of the effects of various factors in forming the structure of the characteristic x-ray spectrum of atoms excited by heavy ions with an energy of ca. 1 MeV u-1 is reported. In particular, the structure o f multiple ionization satellites was analysed and also the effect of t he bombarding ion field and the reflection in the emitted spectrum of the Doppler-shaped lines connected with the presence of the emitting a tom recoil velocity. It is shown that the experimental shape of the co rresponding x-ray lines is satisfactorily reproduced if the contributi on of the effects under investigation is taken into account.
