Abstract
Lemon [Citrus limon (L.) Burm.] styles were treated with different gro wth regulators for induction of somatic embryos. Styles and stigmas we re dissected from flowers and cultured on a Murashige and Skoog (MS) b asal medium supplemented with 4.52 mu M 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 13.3 mu M 6-benzyladenine. Callus was induced from the style base 2 weeks after the treatment initiation, and embryos appeared 2 months later.
