Abstract
A dose of 1.0 mg of aflatoxin B1/kg. of feed caused a significant decr ease in the serum magnesium level on day 7. The decrease in the serum calcium and iron levels was marked but not significant. On day 14, the re was a significant decrease in the serum levels of magnesium and iro n and non-significant decrease in the serum levels of magnesium and ir on and non-significant decrease in serum calcium level. The serum calc ium, magnesium and iron levels showed a significant decrease on day 21 .
