Abstract
DNurbs (dee-in-urbs) are a small number of bicubic patches wrapping ea ch base pair in complementary DNA. NURBS, the nonuniform rational B-sp line surfaces now popular in computer graphics, are employed for the p atches. Control points for the surface patches are generated from the molecular surface based on canonical base pairs.
