A patient with a soft tissue forearm mass had the customary surgical a
pproach for excision. A biopsy specimen at that time showed angiosarco
ma, and the mass was left in situ. Subsequent imaging with computed to
mography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasonography, and angiography
demonstrated the usefulness and limitations of these modalities. Exci
sional surgery and radiation therapy were then done.
