Abstract
The syntheses of octyl beta-D-glucopyranoside-GABA and GABOB conjugate s are presented. The selectively protected octyl-beta-D-glucopyranosid e and gamma-aminobutyric acid were coupled with N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbo diimide. H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy were used to verify the propose d structures.
