This transition has been characterized by differential scanning calori
metry, dielectric measurements and X-ray diffraction. The space groups
and the cell parameters of both phases were determined by X-ray diffr
action from single crystals and powder samples. Phase I has space grou
p 12 or I2/m, a = 25.88(2) Angstrom, b = 7.792(3) Angstrom; c = 5.971(
4) Angstrom; beta = 96.14(1)degrees. Phase II has orthorhombic symmetr
y, space group Cmm2 or C222 with a = 25.91(1) Angstrom; b = 7.836(5) A
ngstrom; c = 6.116(4) Angstrom.
