Abstract
We describe chemical dehydration with 2,2-dimethoxypropane (DMP) for r apid paraffin embedding using a mixture of DMP and mineral oil followe d by mineral oil as clearing intermediates. This method is useful for classical histological techniques as well as for histochemistry and im munocytochemistry.
