Abstract
A new method to analyze shielded planar transmission lines with finite metallization thickness is described. It is based on a mixed spectral -space domain representation of Green's function. The method allows th e accurate determination of the static parameters of the transmission line with great efficiency as compared to methods available in the lit erature. Several numerical examples are shown on single and coupled pl anar transmission lines.
