Abstract
The reaction of methyl propiolate with a great excess of 1,1-dimethoxy ethene led to methyl 6,6-tetramethoxybicyclo[2.2.0]hexane-1-carboxylat e whose crystal structure was determined. This X-ray determination rep resents the first X-ray analysis of a bicyclo[2.2.0]hexane derivative.
