Abstract
Electromagnetic levitation has been used to undercool an alloy of Co80 Pd20 below the Curie temperature of the solid alpha phase. If the temp erature of the undercooled liquid decreases below the Curie temperatur e an attractive force between the sample and an external permanent mag net was observed. This may indicate the existence of a metallic liquid showing magnetic ordering.
