Abstract
Using modularized NaI(TI) detectors, we carried out a high statistics measurement of inclusive gamma-ray, pi(0), and eta spectra, and determ ined the branching ratios or upper limits of Pontecorvo reactions <(p) over bar d> --> pi(0)n, pi(0) Delta(0), eta n, and eta Delta(0) from t he corresponding monochromatic peaks in them. The obtained branching r atios are B(<(p)over bar d> --> phi(0)n)=(1.03 +/- 0.41) x 10(-5), B(< (p)over bar d> --> pi(0) Delta(0))=(4.67 +/- 1.66) x 10(-5), B(<(p)ove r bar d> --> eta n) < 8.94 x 10(-6) (95% C.L.), and B(<(p)over bar d> --> eta Delta(0)) < 6.49 x 10(-5) (95% C.L.).
